The science website that he was referring to, had terrible adsense placement that used a 468×60 banner at the bottom of pages. Based on my experience, the ad placement will not get much clicks.

However, the science website managed to get $10 daily albeit the terrible ad placement. That means this website has high traffic.

There aren’t many secrets about Adsense optimization. You can read a lot of free articles on Adsense optimization. The strick lies in whether you want to do it or not. Many web publishers want to earn money with Adsense, BUT do not give Adsense ads a good position. Do you think they will succeed?

Another factor for Adsense performance is website traffic. More traffic means more income. This is the most difficult yet effective way to keep your Adsense income (or other income sources) increasing.
