Malaysia iPad Air and iPad mini 2 Coming from Celcom, DiGi, Maxis
Malaysia main telcos – Celcom, DiGi, Maxis – updated their websites to add iPad Air and iPad mini with retina display (iPad mini 2) to their list of mobile devices. Pre-registration open now, except Maxis.
Celcom (iPad air, iPad mini 2) and DiGi are now accepting register of interest for both two latest tablets from Apple. Maxis does not have pre-registeration, only says on the website “Plans & pricing coming soon”.
While none of the telcos unveil the iPad Air and iPad mini 2 price and release date, sources say that Celcom will unveil iPad Air plans on December 9th, 2013. It is safe to assume other telcos will follow the same iPad release date.
The rule of thumb is that “you can always buy new iPad before Christmas of the year.†Hohoho! :)

iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display (iPad mini 2) are two new iPad models in 2013 that had been released on November 1st and November 12th in the 1st batch countries.
iPad Air is lighter, slimmer and more powerful (A7 chip) than iPad 4th generation. Price in US starts from $499.
iPad mini 2 is the 2nd generation of the smaller iPad, now with 7.9-inch retina display and powered by the same A7 chip with M7 motion coprocessor found in iPad Air. Price starts from $399 in US.
