Register your interest for Malaysia iPhone 5
Shortly after the Apple iPhone 5 announcement, Malaysia telcos have updated their website to include the iPhone 5 information, plus register of interest (ROI) forms. Register of Interest is NOT a pre-order.
Maxis iPhone 5

If I am correct, Maxis is the first to put iPhone 5 register of interest form online. The formis also mobile device friendly! The Maxis form ask your personal information (name, phone number, email, IC) and ask the iPhone 5 colour and storage size you prefer.
Celcom iPhone 5

Celcom has a simple iPhone 5 ROI formwhich only ask for your name, IC, phone number, email and whether you are existing Celcom customer or not. Celcom does not ask for your iPhone 5 model but only ask for your preferred device colour (black & slate or white & silver).
DiGi iPhone 5

DiGi updated its website with a “iPhone 5 coming soon†banner but no ROI form. I will update when the ROI form is available, perhaps DiGi decided to make things simpler without ROI?
LiewCF’s Two Cents
After 3 months of waiting, finally we have an official iPhone 5 release date in Malaysia! As an existing iPhone 4S owner, I don’t feel exciting about iPhone 5. To me, it is merely slimmer and taller. Faster WiFi? I haven’t upgrade my home network to 802.11n. LTE support? Malaysia’s LTE providers aren’t ready yet. Hey, we don’t even know whether iPhone 5’s LTE (bands 1, 3, 4, 5, 17) will be supported in Malaysia or not!
I am not upgrading to iPhone 5. How about you?
