Maxis 10 Reviewers Programme, Take 2 – Maxis WiFi Modem and Apple iPad
Last November, I has been selected to join Maxis 10 Reviewers Programme for Nokia N8 smartphone. Now, I have been selected (again!) to review Maxis WiFi Modem and Apple iPad!Last week I received a call from Maxis about the Maxis 10 reviewers program for Maxis WiFi modem and Apple iPad. It surprised me. I didn’t know they have the review program for Maxis WiFi modem and iPad.
Few other selected Malaysian bloggers and I met at the Maxis briefing session in Maxis Tower. Each of us was loaned a Maxis WiFi modem (Huawei E5832) and a brand new Apple iPad 3G + WiFi (16GB). (no, not iPad 2 :P)
In order to use the WiFi modem and try Maxis wireless broadband service, each of us was given 2 months complimentary wireless broadband access (3.5GB monthly quota, worth RM70/month)
We are free to write whatever we like (honest reviews), but we are required to write 6 or more blog posts on the two products, with at least two posts with their suggested titles.
If you are wondering… No, we don’t get paid. Though, according to the past Maxis 10 programmes, most reviewers got to keep the loaned devices.
I am existing iPad 3G (32GB) owner and Maxis wireless broadband subscriber. What’s new to me this time is the WiFi modem. It allows you to share 3G broadband by creating a personal WiFi hotspot that support up to 5 devices. I have wanted to test it for a long time!
