Transfer funds from Maybank2U to Public Bank Debit Card (Ask LcF)

As requested by many readers, here, I will show you how to transfer funds (top up) to a Public Bank Visa Electron Debit Card(PB debit card) from a Maybank2u e-banking account.

Top up PB debit card through Maybank2u

Step #1: Log into your Maybank2u account. Select “Interbank (GIRO) Transfer” from “Funds Transfer” menu. You will be welcomed by some Maybank ads.

Click the “Click to Proceed to Interbank(GIRO) Transfer” button at the bottom of the page.

Step #2: On “Beneficiary Bank“, select “PUBLIC BANK” from the dropdown list. Click “Next” button.

Step #3: Now, you need to fill in the “Open Interbank Transfer” form.

Remember to select “Credit Card Payment” for “Payment Type“. This is important! Fill in your PB debit card number for “To Open Beneficiary Account“. “Beneficiary Name” is your name. “Beneficiary ID” is your I.C No.

It is all right to leave “Transaction Reference Number” and “Description of Transaction” blank. Click the “Next” button to continue.

Step #4: Lastly, check and confirm the data, then enter your TAC number. Click “Request TAC” to request for Maybank2u to send the TAC number to your mobile phone number (if you have registered your mobile phone number with Maybank2u).

    3. Your name (for Indians, no need to put the A/L thingee)
