7 New ACER Devices in Malaysia: Aspire Switch 10, Iconia One 7, Aspire ES1-511, All-in-Ones, and More

Acer Malaysia officially launched Acer Aspire Switch 10 2-in–1 notebook. Along with Aspire Switch 10, Acer also introduced 6 more products, including new Acer Iconia One 7, Iconia A1, Acer Aspire ES1–511 notebooks and new Aspire All-in-One (AIO) series.

1. Acer Aspire Switch 10

Acer Aspire Switch 10 is a 2-in–1 Windows 8.1 notebook consists of tablet and keyboard dock, connected via a magnetic hinge.

The multi-touch IPS display is 10.1-inch with 1366×768 pixels resolution, provides wide viewing angle of up to 178-degree.

It is powered by Intel Atom Z3745 1.86GHz processor, 2GB RAM. The storage space is 32GB eMMC on tablet plus 500GB with keyboard dock. 2MP front webcam for 1080p video recording; no rear camera.

For connectivity, it has a micro USB port on tablet, USB 2.0 port on dock, micro SD card reader, HDMI micro port. Supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n.

Aspire Switch 10’s 22Wh battery provides battery life up to 8 hours, Acer says. The 2-in–1 notebook includes free license of Microsoft Office 365 Home & Students.

Aspire Switch 10 price in Malaysia is RM 1,399.

2. Acer Iconia One 7

Acer Iconia One 7 is 7-inch (1280×800) Android tablet powered by Intel Atom Z2560 1.6GHz processor with 1GB RAM and 16GB eMMC storage. 2MP rear camera and HD camera at front. Its weight is 330g with build-in 3680 mAh battery, estimated battery life of up to 7 hours.

Iconia One 7 price in Malaysia is RM399.

3. Acer Iconia A1–830

A1–830 is 7.9-inch Android tablet with aluminium build. Same as Iconia One 7, A1–830 is powered by same Intel Atom processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage.

The screen resolution is 1024×768, a 4:3 aspect ratio suitable for web browsing and ebook reading.

Iconia A1–830 has 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera, plus two speakers. The battery is 4000 mAh Lithium Polymer.

Iconia A1–830 price in Malaysia is RM 599.

4. Acer Aspire ES1–511

Aspire ES1–511 is the cheapest Acer E-series notebook. The display is 15.6-inch with resolution 1366×768 pixels. Powered by Intel Celeron Quad-core N2930 1.83GHz processor, 2GB RAM and 500GB SATA hard disk. The notebook runs Windows 8.1 with Bing*.

It equipped with a DVD drive, 1x USB 3.0 port, 2x USB 2.0 ports, SD card reader, HDMI port. Supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, and Bluetooth 4.0.

The 15.6″ notebook weight 2.4KG with 36 Wh 3-cell Li-ion battery pack, offers battery life up to 4.5 hours.

Aspire ES1–511 price is Malaysia is RM 999.
