Apple TV is now available in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Vietnam. In this article, you will learn the Apple TV features, and the prices in Asia countries compared to US.

Just a moment after I published the article “Things you need to know about Apple iTunes Store in Malaysia” with my question about local availability of Apple TV. My friend Andrew tips me that Apple TV is now available on Apple Store (Malaysia)!

Apple quietly (no press release) added Apple TV onto the online store for Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam. They are among the 12 Asia countries that just got Apple iTune Store.

Apple TV is a small black-color-box that allows you to:

  • Watch 1080p HD movies on iTunes Store, YouTube
  • Play your music and photos from iCloud
  • Wireless stream content (photos, videos, music, Safari, AirPlay-enabled app) from your iOS devices and Mac (AirPlay in OS X Mountain Lion) to your TV.
  • Mirror what’s on your iPhone or iPad to your TV
  • Enabled Dual Screen control in supported iOS apps. Example: use your iPhone as a controller with display and playing game on your HDTV.
