G-Force – the great visualization plugin for your media players
I got a chance to try out the G-Force Platinum version. Here I share my small review of the visualization software.
What is G-Force?
G-Force is a music visualization plug-in for media players that also visualizes auxiliary or “line-in” audio. G-Force features fast anti-aliased effects, millions of possible visual combinations, savable and scriptable effects, and unparalleled expandability.
Frankly, I do not use any visualization for any of my media player. Not that I do not like the special fancy effect when listening music, but my old computer(PIII 450MHz) and graphic card(Nvidia TNT2) just cannot meet the system requirement of major visualization plugins. :S
When I get the copy of G-Force, I am wondering if I need to install it on my brother’s faster computer. Fortunately, I do not.
I install G-Force Platinum on my old computer and — surprisingly — it runs very smooth! There is no lagging of visualization even in full screen mode! Wow!
I am impressed.
How many visual effects?
Well, I do not actually calculate it. I would say — tons of visual effects. Each G-Force visual effect is a combination of WaveShapes, FlowFields, ColorMaps and Particles (What are they?).

What make G-Force different than other visualization plugin?
- G-Force toolbar — do not relies on media player, you can fully control the visualization effect via the advance toolbar.
- V-Bar — want to work but also wish to watch the cool visualization effect? V-bar is for you. It display a horizontal visual bar without disturbing your workspace.
- G-Force screensaver — no more dull screensaver, get the G-Force cool visualization as your screensaver. [Platinum version]
- Visualizes any audio source, and support multiple media players.
