MacBook Pro Retina Stock Clearance in Malaysia Before WWDC 2013
Just a few days before Apple WWDC 2013, Malaysia Apple resellers are doing stock clearance for Macbook Pro with Retina Display (Mid 2012 models) with discounts.
According to an image uploaded to Machines facebook fan page, the Apple reseller is clear the left stock (only few units available) of MacBook Pro 13-inch/15-inch with Retina Display, from RM3999 to RM5999.
Another Malaysian Apple Reseller, Switch, also offering cash voucher up to RM700 for every purchase of “End-Of-Life†MacBook Pro with Retina Display models.
Those are discontinued models, if you don’t mind.
For your information, Apple released MacBook Pro with Retina Display 15“ in June 2012, then introduced 13†MacBook Pro Retina in October 2012. Apple has updated prices and processors for MacBook Pro with Retina Display in February 2013.
New MacBook Pro models soon?
Apple’s annually event, Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2013, will be held from June 10 to June 14, 2013 at Moscone West in San Francisco.
Same as the previous years, we are expecting new Apple software and hardware to be announced in the event. It could be iOS 7, iPhone 5S/6, new MacBook models, iWatch, and.. we don’t know!

If you don’t mind using 1-year old model and limited budget, the mid 2012 MBP Retina are great notebooks. They are only slightly slower than the latest Feb 2013 models (0.1GHz slower processor speed) but you can save money for AppleCare warranty and other accessories and Mac software.
