Sony Ericsson Z520 Mobile Phone Review

My brother bought his first mobile phone — Sony Ericsson Z520. It is a small clamshell phone with rich phone book and cool light effects for incoming calls.

First impression

SE Z520 is small and light, but I dislike its plastic feel. The phone software has fast response time. The menu theme is cute. I am impressed by Z520’s phone book. Many information can be keyed in for a single contact, such as email, website, address, picture and even custom light effects (Z520 plays light effects on incoming calls).

The phone has 16MB internal memory and does not support external memory card. It support bluetooth and infrared. Z520 has build-in digital camera with 4x digital zoom for photo and video shooting. The Z520’s keypad is quite soft. I prefer a harder keypad.

My two cents

Overall, Sony Ericsson Z520 is suitable for college students like my younger brother. It has all the basic functions and some fun features for teenagers. The price is RM$600++

Well, now I am the only one in my family who is still using a mono color mobile phone. :P
