Akismet version 1.15
A new version of the Akismet anti spam plugin, version 1.15, is now available for free download.
What’s new?
- Adds a delete button to the bottom of the page
- Adds a link to the post of a spam comment.
- Hovering over “View Post” link shows title of the post
Although WordPress 2.0 is recommended, but the new Akismet plugin works on WordPress 1.5 as well.
My two cents
Basically, the new Akismet plugin improved user interface. The “View Post” link and the delete button at the bottom of the page were what I wanted since the first version.
Akismet anti spam plugin is great. It has caught over 10,000 spam on LIEWCF.COM!
If you have a high traffic WordPress blog, I highly recommend you to spend a few bucks to get a commercial use license. The main benefit is that you get uptime priority when the system is having problems.
