Launch of HTC One S and HTC Mobile Truck in Malaysia [EVENT]
I attended the official launch of HTC One S and HTC Mobile Truck. It was a simple event, everything was done in half an hour. I got my hands-on HTC One S in the HTC Mobile Truck.
HTC One S
HTC One S uses an aluminum unibody casing. It is the slimmest (7.8 mm) of the HTC One Series. 4.3-inch display (960×540 pixels); powered by 1.7GHz dual-core processor; 1GB RAM; 16GB storage (no micro-SD slot); 25GB dropbox cloud storage for 2 years; Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich; Beats Audio;1650 mAh build-in battery provides up to 10.5 hours talk time.
The rear facing camera is 8 megapixel auto focus camera with F/2.0 aperture and 28mm wide angle lens with single LED flash. It can capture up to 60 continuous shots. I like the eye-catching blue ring around the camera lens. I think it assists people to look at the camera lens when you take their picture.
Compared to HTC One X, HTC One S has smaller display (4.3-inch vs. 4.7-inch) and less storage (16GB vs. 32GB). It also does not support NFC as HTC One X. HTC One X uses quad-core processor and can take 99 burst shots; HTC One S uses dual-core processor and can take 60 burst shots.
The suggested retail price for HTC One S is RM 1838. It is quite expensive, add some bucks and you can get more powerful HTC One X.
HTC Mobile Truck
Along with HTC One S, HTC also launched the HTC Mobile Truck – a roaming live showcase of the entire range of HTC One series smartphones. You can visit the truck to learn, intereact and experience the HTC One series smartphones.

i should be priced at RM1500-1600 due to the number of cores.. but since it’s 1.7Ghz.. what can I say.
