Maxis iPhone 4S is Coming on 16 Dec! Register Your Interest Now!
MALAYSIA – As I expected previously, Maxis iPhone 4S register of interest has started today, 1st December 2011. Hopefully iPhone 4S confirmed to launch on 16 December.
In the register of interest form, Malaysians are asked to pick the iPhone 4S model you are interested in: 16GB/32GB/64GB, Black/White; fill your name, phone number and email. You will be notified when iPhone 4S is launched in Malaysia. We are expecting 16 December.
Update: I have received Maxis media statement about iPhone 4S:
“Maxis Berhad will launch the iPhone 4S, the most innovative smartphone in the world, on 16 December 2011. Customers can register their interest at www.maxis.com.my“
What is “Register of Interest”?
“Register of Interest” is Not Pre-Order. You merely tell the telco that you are interested to buy iPhone 4S. You don’t need to pay. Telco can get a idea how many units to prepare at the release date.
Which model?
I have registered my interest for Maxis iPhone 4S 32GB Black (already got my wife’s permission!). Not 16GB because iPhone 4S takes higher resolution photos and videos (read: need more storage). Can’t decide Black or White? Read this article of TiPb.
