Amazon Store on WordPress

I am trying the Wordpress Amazon Store from
pilkster.com. The script, which is modified from ASM2 script, allows you to run an Amazon online store on your WordPress blog.

The installation is quite easy, but you need an Amazon Developer Key. The default installation assume that your WordPrss blog was installed on the domain root and the path is http://YourSite.com/amazon/. If you install it on other path, you may need to tweak the code a bit as I did.

My two cents

After installed for 48 hours, there hasn’t any sales at the online store. The script would be better, if I can add Amazon.com categories at the sidebar.

I believe the statements make it looks like a scam to anyone who has a clear mind.

Have you try Amazon.com aStore? Actually, Amazon.com launched another new product before it — Omakase Links, whcih create Amazon product links based on your content. Omakase is the Japanese word meaning “entrust” or “protect”.

Text Link Ads (TLA) launched Feedvertising – a feed advertising program for blogs. It adds a text ad to the bottom of feed entry. You can add your personal ads or sell the ad space.
