BlackBerry Q10, the first BlackBerry 10 smartphone with QWERTY keyboard, will be available in Malaysia on May 15, 2013 by Celcom and Maxis. The retail price is RM2388. Read on to find out Q10 specs, features and photos.

BlackBerry Q10 has a squre 3.1-inch (720×720 pixels) touch display, the largest ever on BlackBerry QWERTY smartphone.

Q10 specs is similar to Z10: Both are powered by dual core 1.5 GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with microSD card support, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera, micro HDMI output port, support NFC…

Its 2100mAh removable battery is higher capacity than Z10’s 1800mAh. Also, BlackBerry Q10 is a 4G smartphone that support quad band LTE: 800MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz, 2600MHz. Yes, it supports Malaysia 4G LTE (2600MHz)!

BlackBerry Z10 has LTE version too, but the Malaysia’s Z10 launched previously is a 3G version.

Price and Availability

BlackBerry Q10 is available in two colours: Black and White. The Q10’s recommended retail price is RM2388. Q10 will be available in Celcom and Maxis Malaysia on May 15, 2013. Celcom will start taking pre-order from May 8, 2013.

  1. Crazy expensive!! Blackberry (formerly RIM) is either overconfident about their product vs the competition or plain clueless about reality. Anyway, they have lost 1 longtime BB customer.

      1. Different design and some differences in specs – Q10 has qwerty keyboard, a smaller display, lower 720×720 resolution and its screen is SuperAMOLED.
