4. some users reported the Mic issue.
5. some asus concept store is SELLING . is it under table stuff? =.=
Dear LiewCF:
1. A lot of units brought in from US retailers have faulty speakers and are repaired by Asus locally. Has this been resolved?
2. What is the margin for Asus per unit?
3. How many units does Asus hope to ship in the SEA region?
4. The Nexus 7 is clearly designed to compete with Kindle and other e-readers in Western countries. What is Asus/Google’s goals for Nexus 7 for the non-English speaking world where Amazon/B&N e-readers are not sold?
5. (For Google reps, if they show up) SEA does not have full fledged access to Play Store. How long more are you going to thumb your noses at our money you filthy bastards?
can buy already since last few month from malaysia at ipmart RM849 only

Hi Liew,
Are Malaysia set of Nexus 7 will be entitled for the $25 credit at Google Play store?
Is there any retail outlet of ASUS in Penang and Kedah?
Dear LiewCF, I went to Low Yat Plaza on 21 Sept but neither the Asus centre nor the many dealers are aware of the launch you mentioned. Spoke to them and it seems the main problem is the large stock of tablets (many brands, including Asus) the hold that are unsold. Many of these are mostly above RM1000 and not really better than the Nexus 7 in any significant way. How will they sell their stock if the Nexus 7 is released – even at RM999? Possibly Asus cares more for the dealers than for users/customers.
It is a welcome development. If majority of Malaysians will be able to afford it. That all.
Liew,
Anxiously waiting for your report and recommendation on your Nexus 7 launch that you attended.
Liew went MIA over the Tablets war.
hahaha… no worry, still kicking. :)
