Nvu 1.0 – the free alternative to Dreamweaver
Nvu is a free open source WYSIWYG html editor. It is written based on Gecko, the layout engine inside Mozilla. Like Macromedia Dreamweaver, you can edit webpage in real time(WYSIWYG), or edit HTML code directly. Besides, Nvu also has instant webpage preview, which is lack in Dreamweaver.

Thought:
I tried Nvu beta last year, the final released Nvu 1.0 is much better than the beta version! It is stable, fast and smooth. Besides you need some time to get used to the interface(which is familiar to Mozilla user), it is a good alternative replacement for MS Frontpage and Macromedia Dreamweaver.
