CoComment New Features
In February 2006, I reviewed coComment, a web based comment tracking service. Recently, coComment added a few new features to make it even better.
Among the new features, I love the coCoCrawler. It will track any new comments for you, even the webmaster who do not implement coComment in their website. This is great!
Another new feature of coComment allow you to track conversations that you don’t participate in. Simply tick the “Track this conversation” check box and the conversation will be tracked by coComment’s crawler.
Great. How to get them?
In order to enjoy all the benefit of coComment, you need to use coComment tools. I recommend coComment Firefox extension.

After enable coComment Firefox extension, it will automatically add a new bar under comment box found in the page, where you can track the conversation or configure coComment.

My two cents
I wasn’t using coComment until it added these new features. Now, I can easily track any conversations and them from my feed reader (coComment support feeds too!) I recommend coComment to every web surfers!
Yes, CoComment is better now, I have turn back to use it more often these days.
Glad you like the improvements! Have you tried out the meta-commenting feature? If you are on a page which does not have comments (a blog home page, or simple a non-blog site) and you click on the toolbar button, a dialog pops up which allows you to add a comment — even though there is no comment form!
If somebody else with the extension comes around, they’ll see the little blue coCo-logo turn orange, and by clicking on the toolbar button they’ll be able to see your comment.
Try it :-)
