Weekly Highlights (Week 25, 2005)
So, half of June 2005 has passed. How are you getting on in this month?
I have been working closely on tweaking adsense and planning for few other sites(eventhough I haven’t officially promote my Ideal Gadget blog!).
This month, I have received few software review requests and blog tips submited by readers. That’s great! No only that they helps to enrich the website content, the software companies usually offer full license software to me! Hehe…
Oh, I am getting busier than ever. :)
Last week, I received my Public Bank Visa Electron Debit Card. I used it to verify my PayPal account(add credit/debit card to the account).
Later, I got my first BlogAds payment in the account, the steps to receive money in PayPal is simple!
Besides, I also got my first income in Amazon.com Associates program! Though it is merely USD$1.54. :P
I shared the softwares I used to write blogs(all freeware!) and use Trackback to increase blog traffic. For tech tips, I showed you how to have multiple home pages in Firefox.
On weblogging, we see the new features in coming WordPress 1.6 and the World’s first blogger recruitment agency – Bloggeropoly is launched!
Yahoo! has also expanding to blogging world by acquires Blog.gs, few days later Yahoo! announced subscription search beta that crawls in deep web.
Google is not rest in the week either, it bundled Google Toolbar in Winzip to expand its share in browser toolbars market. Also, Google is planning to offer electronic payment services.
Back to Malaysia, theStar webmail system and Global Malaysian Network website found to have weak security. The other local newspaper – News Straits Times quoted my words in recent article on local weblogging, but failed to give me credit.
