When Celcom announced the Celcom Experience Hubs for Celcom 4G LTE, we were expecting the super fast wireless broadband service launch in February 2013.
Finally, Celcom 4G LTE service launch on 23 April 2013 with data only plan but it has wider network coverage area than its competitor – Maxis 4G LTE.
Usain Bolt, the world’s fastest man, is Celcom’s latest icon to represent the “Celcom’s Fastest Territory” campaign and Celcom 4G LTE.
Malaysians will be able to see the man though Celcom advertisements on major TV channels and news dailies. So far, no sign of Usain Bolt’s plan to visit Malaysia.

Celcom 4G LTE data plan
For theÂ initialÂ launch, Celcom 4G LTE service will be data only and ride on the 2600MHz spectrum.Â In the future, Celcom will support 4G smartphones, including iPhone 5.
Currently, Celcom First Data Pro (RM138/month) is the first and the only Celcom 4G LTE plan. Speed up to 50Mbps and monthly data volume is 10GB.
4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) average speed is 10 times faster than 3G connection, the average speed is up to 50 Mbps.
The first 1000 customers can get Celcom 4G LTE modem and receive 3 months free subscription for only RM199. Interested customers can sign up at Blue Cube Sunway, BlueCube Pavilion and Blue Cube Menara Celcom.

Despite the first service launch, Celcom 4G LTE network already cover the Central,Â NorthernÂ and Southern of Peninsular Malaysia: Klang Valley, Selangor, Perak, Pulau Pinang, Melaka, and Johor.
