AFTER: Visit Kuala Lumpur (November 2007)
Greetings! I have back from KL at Monday. It was a nice trip. I got to meet many professionals at the Webmaster Gathering. I also went to the 2 new shopping centres: Pavilion KL and The Gardens Mall.
Pavilion KL VS. The Gardens Mall
Perhaps it is not fair to compare the Pavilion KL and The Gardens Mall. I went to The Gardens Mall after Pavilion KL. It is small if compared to Pavilion KL. Many shop lots are still under construction.
By the way, The Gardens Mall has prepared a lot of big sofa for your short break after shopping and I like the touch screen computer directory. My suggestion: Do not go to The Gardens Mall yet.

My brother and I went to the Pavilion KL for the first time at the last Friday. Our first impression about it was that Pavilion KL is very bright! It use a lot of glasses and lights in its white/silver color design.
We had our meal at Yo! Sushi. It is a Japanese restaurant from London. Special, isn’t it? I like the smoked salmon and cream cheese rolls. The cheese is creamy… very special roll that you cannot find elsewhere.
Co. donut = Long queue
As tipped by a reader, kss, I found the Co. donut located at the food court of Pavilion KL. It has a very long queue at all time!

I myself do not like to eat donut. I don’t like sweet food. To me, donut equals to “a lot of fat” (my friend is a baker, he told me how to make a donut).
My brother and I were wondering what’s so special about the Co. donut. My brother suggested that it could be caused by the slow performance of the staff. :P If you tried Co. donut, please let us know how nice is the donut?
Well, I prefer the Beard Papa’s cream puff, which located near to the Co. donut.
Webmaster Gathering at KL Sentral
I attended the Webmaster Gathering at KL Sentral as planned. I was there a few minutes late after my lunch, greeted by LimCS, the handsome event organizer who has a SEO company. I got to know many Internet professionals there, such as

The event is fully sponsored by Exabytes web hosting company. I was surprised that the Exabytes CEO, Mr. Chan, is so young!
The sharing sessions were conducted by 3 guests. Google’s country consultant for Malaysia, Hanson Toh revealed the Google services for Malaysians. Followed by Najib from SuccessIdeaWeb sharing the powerful open source CMS, Drupal. Last but not least, Gobala Krishnan, the Malaysian Internet Entrepreneur, shared about “How to make unlimited income from the Internet“.
The networking session was after the sharing session. It was exciting to chat with other geeks. :)
