Red Hat, Inc, the world’s leading open source solutions provider, announced the official opening of Red Hat Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 29, 2015.

Red Hat Malaysia starts operations in 2006 aims to help cultivate a healthy open source environment in Malaysia. The Red Hat Malaysia office will better serve customers and strengthen partner ecosystem in Malaysia.

3 purposes of Red Hat Malaysia:

  • increase customer adoption
  • further expand and enable partner ecosystem
  • increase market awareness

Red Hat Malaysia is the 11th Red Hat office in Asia Pacific. Following Singapore and Indonesia, Malaysia is the 3rd country with Red Hat office in South East Asia.
