As previously mentioned, Amazon.com is taking pre-orders of Microsoft Windows Vista and Office 2007. Amazon.com has created a Microsoft Vista Resource Center for the products, which will be released on January 30, 2007.

Windows Vista

Basically, there are four different versions of Windows Vista: Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, and Ultimate. The official price is ranging from $199.95 to $399.95 (check Amazon.com for offer)

Microsoft Office 2007

Amazon.com listed five different version of Microsoft Office 2007: Home and Student, Ultimate, Professional, Small Business, and Standard. Priced from $351.99 to $679.95. Compare all eight versions of Microsoft Office 2007 versions.

If I would buy Microsoft Office 2007, I will buy the Microsoft Office Standard 2007 with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook. The Home and Student version does not have Outlook 2007 but OneNote 2007(for taking notes).
